Bubinga Hanbo Staff 36" 1" Rare Exotic Heavy Wood Limited Supply, Laminated for Martial arts use

Regular price $110.00

Items Available: 1

This is limited edition rare exotic wood Bubinga hanbo staff. Bubinga is also commonly called African Rosewood. Bubinga is a beautiful hard heavy exotic wood. The Hanbo Staff is a traditional Okinawan self defense training weapon in Kobudo style martial arts. The traditional length for a hanbo staff is 36". Its diameter is 1 inch through out its length. These staffs are made with solid hardwood.

Bubinga is considerably harder then American Hickory. It has an amazing smooth sturdy feel. It has a beautiful dark reddish color.

I have a limited supply of these so this is a limited time offer.

When testing the wood, it seemed more brittle then either hickory or ipe, so it may not be suitable for contact.

It is sanded smooth and finished with several coats of Linseed and Beeswax oil, which gives it a permanent shine and protective layer while allowing the users hands to slip effortlessly up and down the staff, which is required for proper technique.

Thanks!
-Adam
