These are full length handmade Hickory Wooden Bo Staffs. The Bo Staff is a traditional Okinawan training tool used in Kobudo style martial arts and self defense training. This particular staff is 1" in diameter through out its entire length. 72" is the traditional length for a full size bo staff.
The materials consist of solid hickory. Hickory is the hardest available North American Hardwood, and is excellent for all uses.
It is finished with several coats of Linseed and Beeswax oil and sanded to a fine finish, which gives it a permanent shine and and amazing feel in the which allows the hands to slip effortlessly up and down the staff.

*These staffs have some large black spots, probably from water damage inside the tree from wormholes. All of these 3 staffs also have small black dots spread out on one side of the staff. These features are shown in the latter pictures. All these spots are as hard as the surrounding hickory, except for the very small minor what may be filled wormholes. They may be able to be felt slightly in use. These overall are excellent staffs and I have reduced the price from 80 to 70 for these full length staffs. The pictures of the flaws are shown in an unfinished state.
