Hello! Thanks for looking at my site!

This listing is for one SINGLE handmade solid Ipe Tanbo Staff. Ipe is an exotic heavy wood. The Tanbo Staff is a traditional training tool used in Kobudo style martial arts. Its diameter 1 inch through out its length. If you are looking for a pair please choose my listing for such. If you order more then one of this listing the weights will not match.

Ipe is twice as hard as common American Hickory. It has an amazing dark brown color. It is one of the hardest woods in the world. It has an amazing smooth sturdy feel. It has a beautiful heavy dark brown color.

It is sanded down to a shine and finished with several coats of Linseed and Beeswax oil, which gives it a permanent shine and protective layer while allowing the users hands to slip effortlessly up and down the staff, which is required for proper technique.

Thanks!
-Adam
