These listing is for a single handmade Hickory Tanbo Sticks. The Tanbo are also known as Kali Stick or Escrima Stick. This is an upgrade from common Rattan material. These Sticks are are various lengths, each has a diameter of 1 inch.
The materials consist of Hickory Hardwood which is the hardest available and most resilient North American wood. This wood is cherished for its impact qualities.
Hickory can come in lighter tan sapwood colors, light brown or darker brown heartwood, or a mixture of both. These variations are aesthetic only and do not affect the integrity of the wood at all, and each pair has a unique look.
These sticks can be laminated or not depending on availability. There are no differences in performance or durability between them.
They are finished with several coats of Linseed and Beeswax oil, which adds beauty protection and allows the users hands to slip effortlessly up and down the stick, which is required for proper technique.
