The Chizikunbo are a traditional Martial Arts training weapon. It is comprised of a short wooden hand held piece with two holes with a string through them slipped over the finger or fingers. Chizikunbo are held in the palm of the hand. They are used in Karate, jujitsu, and kungfu systems. They are used in pairs or as a single stick.

This listing is for a single stick.

These particular sticks are made from laminated Hickory and Ipe. Ipe is twice as hard as common American Hickory. It is one of the hardest woods in the world. It has an amazing smooth sturdy feel. It has a beautiful heavy dark brown color. This is a superior wood for chizikun due to the slight difference you can feel with weight in your hand. Hickory is the hardest available North American native wood, and cherished for its impact qualities.

Each chizukunbo comes with a section of paracord to thread through the holes and tie to fit your fingers. After cutting the ends, just use a small flame or lighter and sear the ends of the string.
