These are handmade Basswood laminated Purpleheart Wooden Bo Staffs. The Bo Staff is a traditional Okinawan training tool used in Kobudo style martial arts. Please check available sizes. These staffs are 72" in length.
The materials consist of Basswood and Purpleheart. Basswood is similar in appearance to hickory but is super lightweight. Basswood is a softwood. There is a thin purpleheart strip down the center for extra beauty.
These staffs are perfect for tournament use or for someone needing a lightweight staff.
It is finished with several coats of Linseed and Beeswax oil and sanded to a fine finish, which gives it a permanent shine and amazing feel in the which allows the hands to slip effortlessly up and down the staff.
