This listing is for two staffs. Both are made with Hickory with a .25" strip of Purpleheart down the middle. These staffs are 1.25 inches in width.
The first staff is a one of a kind staff. It is made from vary rare beautifully flamed hickory heartwood. It is very heavy weighing at 1lb 13 oz. The flamed pattern is very visable and runs right up the length of the staff on all sides. Length 46 3/4
The second staff is the same construction with a different piece of standard hickory. I have discounted the price slightly on this staff from 135 to 125, due to two small darker sections on the staff shown in the pictures. These however do not affect the performance at all. Length 52"
Both these staffs are appropriate for all uses.
It is finished with several coats of Linseed and Beeswax oil, which gives it a permanent shine and protective layer while allowing the users hands to slip effortlessly up and down the staff, which is required for proper technique.
