This listing is Purpleheart Tanbo stick Singles. For a single Stick, these sticks will not match in weight with other sticks. These are an upgrade from common Rattan sticks, commonly used in Philippines Martial Arts Arnis Styles. These Sticks are typically 24 or 28 inches in length, but other sizes may also be available. These are made in a rounded design. Each has a diameter of 1 inch.
These sticks may be made either out of solid wood or laminated wood depending on wood availability and quality.

The materials consist of purpleheart wood which is one of the most beautiful exotic hardwoods. Its hardness is comparable to hickory and has a beautiful natural dark purple color.
Purpleheart is an excellent all-around wood similar in density to hickory and is recommended for tournaments because of the eye-catching color and overall reasonable weight. Purpleheart like all woods can vary in weight. Weights that are of a medium or lighter variety will be explicitly stated.
It is finished with several coats of Linseed and Beeswax oil, which adds beauty protection and allows the users hands to slip effortlessly up and down the stick, which is required for proper technique.
