This listing is for Single NON MATCHING WEIGHT Solid Ipe Tanbo or Escrima Sticks. If you order 2 of these sticks they will not be a matching weight pair. Originating from the Philippines, these are primarily used in Filipino Martial arts styles such Arnis, Escrima, and Kali. This is an upgrade from common Rattan sticks.
Escrima sticks can be wielded in pairs or individually. This listing is for single unmatched sticks ONLY. They come in various sizes up to 28".

The materials consist of solid Ipe wood which is twice as hard as hickory. It has a beautiful dark brown color and feels heavy to the hands.
These are much heavier than Rattan or Bamboo sticks and are excellent for strength training and other heavy uses.
Each are finished with several coats of linseed and beeswax oil, which adds beauty, protection, and allows the users hands to slip effortlessly up and down the stick which is required for proper technique.
Discounted staffs are Perfect for non-contact uses, such forms, solo training, kata, and building strength. I do not recommend them for contact, as they do not have straight grain or have some other aesthetic imperfections.
